Life lately has been insanely busy, hence the hiatus.
Because of that, I’ll go month by month for you.
June: Savannah’s graduation, the end of the school year and Florida friends
In June, my little baby Savannah graduated from high school. I can not believe she’s a college student now.
(In case you were unsure, in this picture, I am 24 and she’s 18. It’s crazy to me that she’s as tall and beautiful as she is.)
At the end of June, I finished up the school year in the middle school I was working at. I have to be honest, there wasn’t much love lost on that school. I was only there for a few months, and didn’t really care for the job much. But, that being said, I loved the people that I worked with so that was a sad good-bye.
After school let out, I visited Amy, Mikel and Baby C in Florida. It was the best nine days of my entire summer. This summer was the longest I’ve spent with them since they moved to Florida in 2012, which in itself was good enough for me. But, I am so grateful to Amy and Mikel for letting me spend time with the most adorable little one-year-old ever, who just happens to call me Aunt Shelby. I have never loved a kid more than I love him. I actually cried when Amy and Mikel dropped me off at the airport, which I was not expecting to happen. Luckily I got to see them again for a dayish at the end of the summer.
(Just try to tell me he is not the absolute cutest child you have ever seen in your entire life!)
